I'm hoping that I'm following the instructions right and putting this in the correct place.
Character's Name: Aria Lynn
Age: 19
Race: Human
Title: Peasant
Power(s): Has the ability to help things grow and thrive, minor healing abilities
Coven: None
Weapon(s): Long oak staff bound with leather, sharpened at one end to provide protection against those who can’t be fended off with a could of whacks.
Appearance:
Long brown hair falls to her waist in soft waves and around her slender, heart-shaped face. There is always a slight smile to her rosy lips, and her large hazel eyes seem to have a fiery spark in them. Her body is slender, lithe in appearance, but strong compared to most human females. She often goes about wearing rather cheap clothing, plain dresses, though she has one or two very fancy dresses that she will wear on a special occasion. Often though she is in men’s clothing with her hair braided back from her face, dirty from working in the gardens or helping with those who are wounded and ill.
Personality:
Aria is a kind girl, a trickster of sort always looking for a bit of fun where she can find it, but a loyal friend. She has a fiery spirit and doesn’t back down when others are doing wrong, which sometimes leads her into trouble. However, despite her firebrand manner she is rather soft-hearted; having more generosity than money though she never lets that get her down. When she is angry though she can be quite the violent and brash sort, forgetting status and such, no matter who it is she is fighting with.
Past History:
Born into a nomadic group of performers and healers, Aria was the first and only daughter of the Lynn family, her mother an actress and her father the head healer of the group. Aria never knew her mother though, the young woman dying only a season after the babe was born, and so it was up to the males in her family to raise her the best way they could. She had eight older brothers, and so she knew how to wrestle and duel quiet well once she was capable of walking and holding a stick. The girl learned many things from her father and the other’s within the caravan, a natural healer she caught on quick to what her father taught her. Soon it was she who many in the camp came to when there was an injury or sickness. By the time she was thirteen though her life changed.
The camp was thriving, the riches shared among all the people as they went from town to town. When traveling into Nullius the caravan was attacked. Many fled from the robbers, the money and valuables taken, the women and young girls as well. With her father’s quick thinking though he cut Aria’s hair and hid her among her brothers, saving her from a fate worse than death as they escaped from the bandits. After that many of the nomads disbanded from the group, including the Lynn family who found themselves a small home and shop. Since then their reputation as healers and doctors have grown in the village among both peasant and noble alike. While some of her family have married and moved on, Aria remains with her father working in the shop while she also tends to a large garden given to her by a lady who had no use for the land so close to the forest.
Interests:
Tending to her garden, reading, and entertaining the children in the village.
Pets: A large black dog by the name of Umbra, though he is really a stray he often just follows Aria around when she is out on errands and such.
RP sample:
“I’m telling you that you’re wrong my dear. A young girl like yourself should be married by now and with a child…”
Aria smiled at the old inn-keeper’s wife as she chided her about how a girl was suppose to be as she ate her dinner and drank her ale. The market was done now, closed up as the sun had sunk below the horizon. She laughed at the woman’s last comment, leaning over the small table as she poured herself a bit more ale before taking another bite of stew. “Oh, and just who do you suggest take me and make me a mother and wife? I’m guessing you think your son would be a good pick?” She teased, watching the old woman roll her eyes at her sarcasm before walking away from her.
The young girl thought it silly that at her age there were other girls tying themselves down to a husband and family. She'd always been free, taught by her brothers and father in a way very different to how other girl's she met had been taught. She leaned back in her chair, reaching down as she fed the big black mutt at her feet a piece of meat, looking at him with a critical glare, “Do you think I should marry?” She asked with a laugh as Umbra barked and chomped away at his treat, “Good, neither do I…” With a smile Aria stood up finishing off her drink before she picked up her cloak and staff, throwing a few coppers on the table before nodded to the Keeper.
Once outside she breathed in the cool night’s air, sighing softly as she began her trek down the long market road back towards her home. After a bit she cut down a small side street, a darker, but quicker route home. Holding her staff a bit tighter she quickened her pace, know that even on a beautiful night ugly things could happen.
